Tom Quinn is a Managing Director at Gleacher Shacklock with a principal focus on working with companies within the broader Industrials and Services sectors.
Tom has worked on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and restructurings and has provided strategic advice to clients across a number of sectors. Recent experience includes advising GKN on its defence against the hostile offer from Melrose, the proposed combination of GKN Driveline with Dana, and the acquisitions of Fokker and Volvo Aero, Kier on a comprehensive refinancing during 2021, QinetiQ on its acquisitions of Avantus Federal and Meggitt Target Systems, RPS on an equity raise and the cash offers from Tetra Tech and WSP Global, RWS on its response to an unsolicited approach from BPEA and the acquisitions of SDL and Moravia, and Smiths Group on the sale of its Medical division and the acquisitions of United Flexible and Morpho Detection.
Prior to joining Gleacher Shacklock, Tom worked in corporate finance at Deutsche Bank. Tom has a BSc in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham.
